Working with community at the Aotea Centre

Warwick is a magician of the performing arts, both producing, directing and presenting solo shows and community theatre. He is one of New Zealand’s most innovative and creative directors. If you have seen any of his productions you will immediately recognise their artisrtic value.

Under develoment is Monkey, from Chinese mythology, the story of a monk , a monkey, a horse called Sandy, and a pig called Pigsy. They are sent by the Goddess of Compassion, Quan Yin, to India to request the sacred scriptures from the Buddha.

Warwick intends to present this show by walking the length and breadth of New Zealand with a single prop - a newspaper. He will perform this show for whomever invites him, for whatever fee and/or hospitality is given to him. You are invited to participate in the preparation and this theatrical journey at any stage.
